Volunteers

Ms. Wheelchair Connecticut, Inc., is always looking for additional helping hands. We welcome individuals to join our group for many different tasks. Perhaps you would like to join a committee headed by one of our board members. Committees are in charge of publicity, fundraising, networking… Don't think you have that much time to devote? Then you may be just the right person to help out on event days such as our annual state program and other Ms. Wheelchair Connecticut appearances.

 

Contestants

Ms. Wheelchair Connecticut, Inc. has begun its 2009 contestant search. Prospective contestants must be female within the ages of 21-60 and 100% wheelchair/scooter bound because of a physical disability for their daily community activity. Anyone interested in becoming a contestant should contact us for additional information and to obtain an application. The winner of Ms. Wheelchair Connecticut will make local appearances at events around the state and attend the National Program.
